Youngster and Remedial Problem Training
All problems considered and can be helped in kind, sympathatic, non-violent methods
Part / Full Livery / Pre-Training / Point To Pointers
Both now qualified as Practising Professionals of Practical Horsemanship, Dani and Mike have now set up their own yard in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, taking in starters and problem horses for training using the non-violent concepts they have learnt and continue to study with Practical Horsemanship. Their yard offers a full range of livery services and they are also avaliable for callouts (e.g. Leading/Loading problems, Untouched Horses) and freelance work. Please contact us for advice or help
The methods we utilise are those of non-violence and using the horses own inbuilt body language to establish clear boundaries, allowing us to train horses in a calmer and safer way. Most horses that come into training with us work through desensitisation to plastic, tarpaulins, flags etc. and do groundwork exercises before moving onto ridden work. We take on a variety of horses from groundwork problems, youngsters for starting, ridden issues to racehorses for pre-training. We will consider any horse - regardless of your aims and ambitions. We also consider working with the owner a priority.

'Thoughtful, sensitive, practical, sensible, knowledgeable and patient. Just a few of the many qualities displayed by Dani and Mike at Equine Unity. It's not the AA that's the 4th emergency service - it's these two!'
'You’ve literally covered so many different needs for us, we really do appreciate you having gone the extra mile. All our horses have left you looking and behaving beautifully'
'I never looked back. They inspired me with confidence from the word go. They were organised, calm and professional. The whole experience for the horse and myself was untraumatic and easy, the costs were very reasonable and the follow up support was invaluable. I don't believe this service is easy to find in the horse industry'

Wychwoods Dancer (Blossom) that we had at our yard for 8months for starting & pre-training ran in her first race 22/06/2011 and came 2nd!! From sensitive bucking horse that couldnt even cope with the girth or stirrups to confident bold racehorse for her first time out, she ran in the 5.40 bumper at Worcester, coming 2nd to a horse with form and beating several others that had form in p2p etc. Really pleased with her!
Anshan filly started by us in the summer last year ran her first race 29/03/11 at Taunton (now named Dancing Emily) and won the 5.20 by 4 lenghts!!! Well done Fancy - as we called her!! Her field mate that we also had in training, Spendid Choice, has also just run in her first race and come third! - Well done girls!
